About the Site
Data on single-family homes in and around San Francisco is taken from the San Francisco Multiple Listing Service. SF House Prices reports on any changes in the list prices for these properties.
Address-to-coordinate (latitude/longitude) lookup comes from the Google Maps API.
Per-city neighborhood-to-coordinate tables come from Trulia.
Each property’s neighborhood is calculated by using a latitude/longitude distance formula found in the ASPN Python Cookbook to join together the address-to-coordinate and neighborhood-to-coordinate lookups.
